Gattaca grow European offering with German appointment

Gattaca appoints experienced recruitment Managing Director and former MD Europe for Modis International

Specialist recruitment group, Gattaca, today announced the appointment of Edwin Reijntjes as their Managing Director of Germany.

Edwin has 25 years’ experience in recruitment, 15 of which are in European recruitment, and was formerly the Managing Director Europe for Modis International. Edwin will be responsible for driving Gattaca’s European strategy forwards, starting with Germany.

Edwin will be based at Gattaca’s new Munich office in the heart of the city centre, where he will be recruiting specialist consultants and a Business Development Manager to join his team.

Gattaca is the parent company for a number of specialist recruitment brands including engineering recruitment specialist, Matchtech, and technology recruitment specialist, Networkers. Edwin will be responsible for building both brand’s European presence with the goal  of developing their in-country capability so that they can transact and grow business in Germany, before growing the business into further European regions.

Gattaca’s Chief Operations Officer, Keith Lewis, said: “We are delighted to welcome Edwin to the Gattaca team. Edwin has previously worked in Germany, Holland and the UK for organisations such as Randstad, Hudson, Elan (Manpower) and Adecco and brings with him a wealth of experience in setting up and running recruitment businesses at senior management and exec level.”

He continued: “With ample opportunities in engineering and technology across Germany, our new office in Munich is a fantastic base from which to build on our already strong European market offering.”
