Gattaca appointed as recruitment partner for the Ministry of Defence’s Defence Equipment & Support organisation

Gattaca signs four-year contract with Defence Equipment and Support, the MOD’s procurement organisation, to support recruitment.

Specialist recruitment solutions group Gattaca has today announced a four-year agreement with Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) – the Ministry of Defence (MOD) procurement organisation responsible for equipping and supporting the UK’s armed forces.  

As recruitment partner to DE&S, Gattaca will support the recruitment of employees across the UK and overseas and assist in the development of new candidate attraction techniques. Gattaca will also support the employee onboarding process to deliver a technology-enabled, best-in-class candidate experience.

DE&S manages a vast range of complex programmes to buy, support and supply vital equipment and services for the armed forces, ranging from submarines and warships through to armoured vehicles, medical and food supplies. 

In addition to the recruitment of engineering and technology professionals, Gattaca will support the recruitment of other employees, covering functions such as Project Management, Logistics, Finance, Commercial and Project Controls.
