James King – Talent Management Coordinator

After a career as a retail Sales Manager, I was seeking a new career path and wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to do. A close friend told me that my personality would fit HR perfectly and that I should venture into a career in that whilst I’m still young. I decided to take the leap into a new and exciting career in the world of HR.

As Gattaca’s Talent Management Coordinator, it is my responsibility to carry out administrative tasks for both our Talent Acquisition and our Talent & Performance Development teams; this includes supporting our Talent Team by creating job vacancies, candidate generation, and assessment days. For our Talent & Performance Development team, I am involved in the organisation of training, the allocation and management of RPS licenses, and training compliance . I am also studying for the CIPD Level 3 Diploma in Human Resource Practise which will enable me to further my career. 

Outside of work I love to eat out, socialise with my friends and spend time with family. But most importantly, I enjoy my new found free time at weekends!
