Gattaca signs two-year recruitment contract with NATS

Gattaca, a specialist international recruitment group, has signed a two year deal with NATS to source and recruit specialist engineering, technology and business support contractors in key roles across the UK. New recruits will design and implement state-of-the-art technology that will help create a unified air traffic management system.

Working with Gattaca’s specialist recruitment brands, Matchtech and Networkers, the Group will work in partnership with NATS to place business analysts, project managers, systems engineers, installation engineers and software developers.

Gattaca’s Client Solutions Director, Matthew Wragg, said:

The people we are placing will be highly experienced professionals working on a number of exciting new projects, including the airspace modernisation programme, and will be part of the teams deploying the Single European Sky Air Traffic Management Research (SESAR) and the Future Airspace Strategy."

Prior to commencing the contract, Gattaca spent 12 weeks working with NATS to ensure they understood their current and future projects and to develop a close relationship with the hiring community. During this time Gattaca worked with NATS to introduce a bespoke recruitment tool to streamline the process for managing, analysing and procuring their overall contingent workforce.

Gattaca currently has over 150 contractors working at NATS sites around the country, which is predicted to rise over the next two years.  Opportunities are available for engineering and technology professionals at core locations including Prestwick and Swanwick air traffic control centres, and NATS’ Corporate and Technical Centre in Whiteley, a centre of excellence for their engineering community and the new Training facility for Air Traffic Control.
