Recruitment Consultant - Security
We're looking for an IT Recruitment Consultant to join us as we expand our presence in this growing market. Cyber Security is without question the most talked about topic in IT and driving a previously unseen level of recruitment.
This is a warm seat with an abundance of opportunity with exisiting clients but not enough consultants to service them, it is also a sector where we need someone with a drive and ambition to make the most of current opportunities and grow the client base even further for themselves and the team.
We're looking to further grow our team in the IT / Cyber Security market to capitalise on this growth and are looking for someone to join a team in a sector which is competitive and challenging but offers the opportunity to become a stand out performer within Networkers. Candidates genuinely feel that what they do makes a difference and as a business we have a client base in both the private and public sectors covering defence, government, retail, consumer, financial services, engineering and technology.
The key to success in this seat is your ability to identify, source and network with hard to find (and quite often passive) candidates and then market them out to a client base that is very open to speaking with consultants who can solve recruitment headaches. Networking / Relationship Development / a genuinely consultative approach are all more highly prized than being a "cold call" sales person although obviously each contact is a sales opportunity. We need you to be proactive, hard-working and determined with an innovative approach to candidate sourcing and our ideal candidate will already be working in a role where they can demonstrate their ability to be innovative and tenacious in their working practices. Recruitment can be taught but anyone joining needs to be able to demonstrate a work ethic that will separate them from others.
Making the decision to look for that next permanent position is something that candidates don't take lightly so it's essential that you have the ability to form close relationships, ask searching questions and really understand their needs and wants. In addition though, you need to be able to identify, sell to and develop trust with potential clients in order to become a preferred partner for when they do look to recruit new talent. Our focus as a business is working with clients on a long term basis - most definitely not a quick fix and move on!
