Senior Recruitment Consultant

We're looking for an experienced Consultant to join our Automotive technology specialism and nurture our existing clients in this area, whilst driving fr growth and developing new business for their desk.
In a rapidly evolving technology space the division bridge the gap between Gattaca's Engineering and Technology brands - the skill convergence space is growing and so is the recruitment activity in it. The technology space may be new but the skillsets aren't - we have 30 years experience in the sector which means mature candidate networks and a great client base - we just need some more talented people to maximise the opportunities

The traditional UK automotive market has been through a tough 18 months but that hasn't been the case for the autonomous driving, connected car and hybrid/electric markets - automotive technology is busy!! We have established relationships and lots of existing business but we need to cover more ground and therefore need an experienced recruiter to complement our perm recruitment team.
Responsibilities are focused on 3 key areas:
- Sourcing candidates on live vacancies (the successful applicant will be supported by a dedicated candidate resourcer freeing up time for more passive candidate engagement
- Developing, building and managing existing client relationships
- Bringing on new clients through a smart business development approach which is supported by an experienced sales team
