The Job

Our Infrastructure & Construction division is looking for a successful recruitment Director to lead the growth and progression of our Transportation business.


An experienced recruitment leader, with proven experience working with a high performing team within an established division!

The Job

As Sales Director within Matchtech you will be responsible to own, drive & grow our Transportation operation, which includes our Contract & Permanent teams within both Highways & Rail!

Role Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for driving the sales strategy and growth within the Transportation sector through our existing client focus on a local and national client base
  • Leading on the development of some of the Groups biggest billers, to aid their future career aspirations
  • Our goal is to grow in headcount & NFI significantly. You will be working closely with the existing management team within Infrastructure to help shape the division's business plan and implement strategies to achieve the short, medium and long term objectives.
  • With a close eye on profitability, you will also take responsibility for running the Divisions P&L
  • You will provide credible support, training and development across the sales, client development and delivery functions, enabling each employee to maximise their potential.
  • You will lead with autonomy, designing and executing day to day operating conditions and supporting messages from the leadership team to drive the desired behaviours and culture across the operation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership, Strategy, finance, and reporting
  • Review and agree plans for the sales goals, budgets, staffing and any structural changes ensuring that your plans, goals and spending align with the Group's Business Plan.
  • Develop, manage and execute the business plan with a particular emphasis on continual performance impact in order to meet budget and other strategic goals.
  • Manage and report on operational P&L's in Monthly and Quarterly reviews identifying key metric trends.
  • Update and present to leadership team, Executive team and Main Board as appropriate
  • Responsible, in conjunction with the TA, L&D and HR functions, for staff attraction, retention and development and to surpass staff expectations which is tracked through our continuous employee engagement platform.
  • Drive the growth of all product lines, especially expansion of our Consultancy, and work and evolution of existing product offering to Public Sector.
