The Position:

Barclay Meade are seeking a business professional who is experienced in building relationships and winning new business to lead our Cyber Security sales function and play a key role in leading in the achievement of strategic growth targets of our Cyber Security sales division.

Due to significant performance and growth, The Sales & Marketing team are looking to hire a Recruitment Consultant to join Barclay Meade's specialist department focused solely on recruiting technical Sales & Marketing professionals into the Defence, Security & Aerospace sectors. As a group, we are recruitment partners to some of the largest Defence contractor's in the world and we are a preferred supplier of recruitment services and solutions to the UK MOD.

Here you will play a key role in the Company's growth and operation, where you will be responsible for owning all aspects of sales within your market specialism, including: Business Development, Sales and Strategic Account Management.

You will have responsibility for all aspects of operating a full lifecycle recruitment service and exceeding agreed targets. You will deliver this through the application of effective sales and client development techniques to maximise income and provide the highest standards of service. You will be responsible for developing an Influencer Network relevant to your industry and will meet with clients regularly to discuss ways of supporting their business, cross selling relevant parts of Gattaca Plc.

The key remit of this role is to embed within that industry sector in order to become a credible recruiter. There will be considerable cross-sell potential within the wider Barclay Meade, Networkers and Matchtech brands of Gattaca Plc. This is a new business focused desk, but with many established connections and contacts to engage with. The role requires a high level of business development, along with strengthening warm business relationships from the existing Barclay Meade, Networkers and Matchtech client base.

Tasks & Accountabilities:

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and qualifying the addressable market for sales & marketing in enterprise, government and defence.
  • Be a leading specialist within the Sales & Marketing Industry
  • Build technical expertise
  • Working with the divisional lead to construct route to market strategies and customer stakeholder maps.
  • Building a credible sales funnel and pipeline of opportunities.
  • Developing, building and managing candidate talent pools.
  • Achieving the teams budgeted target for contracted and new business meeting order intake, sales and gross margin expectations,
  • Build technical expertise
  • Developing long-term relationships with internal stakeholders, candidates and clients.
  • Perform executive searching by using tools available.
  • Delivering against individual target.

The Location:

Gattaca's HQ is based in Hampshire (Whiteley) & have offices located in London Bridge and Winnersh too, this particular role is based in Whiteley. We are operating a hybrid working model currently, which means you'll have the flexibility once fully trained to work from home as well as in office.
