Mission Complete - Gattaca Places 2,000 Candidates Back into Full-Time Employment

Summer 2021 is in full flow, restrictions are being lifted and England reached a final of a major tournament. 

But go back a year and things were very different.

Jobs were lost. Furloughs were forced. And thousands faced the daunting proposition of salary sacrifices in the name of the greater good. 

With our pedigree in the recruitment industry, we realised we were uniquely positioned to help mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 crisis.

So, in September 2020, we made a promise.

We pledged to help 1,000 unemployed individuals back into the stability of full-time work. 

We didn’t know how long it would take, but our staff proved how keen they were to help their client communities across the globe.

So, before Christmas came, we were already over halfway there. 

In April 2021, we achieved that goal. But we decided to up the stakes.

After successfully placing 1,000 individuals back into employment, we set our sights on a bigger goal:

2,000 individuals back into employment by the end of June 2021.

And as of last week, we’re proud to say we’ve completed our mission. 

But we hadn’t just pledged to help candidates - we’ve also cultivated a range of resources to help our clients through what has been an equally tough time. 

“We want to do everything we can to help our customers through these difficult times, and whilst we’ve got a great range of talent solutions services available, we wanted to offer more”, said Matthew Wragg, Gattaca Group Director.
