Georgia Byrne - Workforce Solutions Architect

Georgia Byrne

I joined Gattaca in 2017 from a specialist recruitment agency where I spent six years leading their Client Services Division, delivering dedicated collaborative partnerships to their engineering clients.

At Gattaca I am responsible for growing our solutions business. I do this by evaluating and gaining a rapid appreciation of our clients’ workforce strategies, sharing best practice and shaping efficient solutions in response to their objectives.

The critical ‘talent engagement to needs’ process is now tougher than ever. We have a multi-generational, ageing workforce and skill shortages across the board, which is creating fresh challenges and considerations for all our clients. At Gattaca, we aim to be at the forefront, leading the way in ensuring our clients attract, engage, retain and manage their valued workforce, whist continuously improving their proposition in the market as an ‘employer of choice’.

Our clients also need to make sure they are seeking to recruit a diverse and inclusive workforce. Feeling very passionate about diversity, I thoroughly enjoy driving initiatives which help increase diversity within the workforce; for example, encouraging young adults to consider a career in engineering and technology is something that is very close to my heart.

Culture alignment with our clients is naturally very important, so our objective is to partner with clients who see us as a true extension of their business and include us on their journey by promoting collaboration and encouraging us to challenge the status quo.

Customer experience is extremely important to me and I am a naturally inquisitive person so I enjoy getting to know my clients. Working closely with my clients allows me to understand their competitive advantage and help them further develop their brand strength as well as recommend and evolve innovative solutions.

Outside of work, I like to spend time travelling and eating…a lot! To all fellow foodies, recommendations for great places to eat are always welcomed.
