Aidan Kelly - Chief Engineer

My background is in Mechanical Engineering; I attained a master’s degree from The University of Southampton and I’m a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).

I joined Gattaca Projects in 2012 as a stress analyst to support projects in both the naval marine and aerospace industries. In the years since, I have taken on a number of roles within the company before becoming Chief Engineer in September 2018.

Over the years, the Gattaca Projects team has delivered many interesting projects to a great variety of customers in the aerospace industry and, during this time, the team spirit and ethos upon which the company was founded have remained a constant. It is great to work with such a proactive and productive team and even better to see client satisfaction as a direct result of our expertise in project delivery. Going forwards, I welcome the opportunity to develop our current client relationships and to explore opportunities to collaborate with new clients.  

Outside of the office, I am an avid traveller and a keen sports fan. I spent much of my formative years on various sports pitches and courts; although now I’m much better suited to watching on from the sidelines.
