“I joined Gattaca as a history graduate, my role developed from a Graduate Liaison Consultant in 2005; building relationships with universities across the UK to identify talent for our Engineering and Technology clients, to my current role which is Global Head of Talent Management for the Group. This development wouldn’t have been possible without the ongoing mentoring and support of my Director (Jennie Mead) and without the Gattaca-funded post-graduate diploma in Personnel Development (CIPD Accredited) and Masters top-up. These additional qualifications have helped me become a credible member of the HR function, allowing me to add value to colleagues across the business, and have also provided me with the academic stimulation and in-work challenges required to succeed at my current role and for my future development.”

“I joined the legal team at Gattaca in 2008 as an Immigration and Diversity Analyst. I had already completed my law degree and post graduate degree and my long-term aim was to become a solicitor. My manager looked into whether Gattaca would be able to obtain a training certificate which would allow me to become a trainee solicitor with the company. In 2010, Gattaca registered with the Law Society (after passing all of the requirements to become an in-house training provider) and in March 2010 I started my two year training contract. I have now been on the roll of solicitors since 2012. All of this would not have been possible without the support and encouragement of the company. I thoroughly enjoy working for a company that really takes pride in employee development. The legal team alone has doubled in size since I started and I can only see it growing in years to come as we strive to provide more specialist support internationally.”
